We at Roadrunner Bicycles are big fans of the older classic bikes. We also believe in recycling bikes that have good service and value still in them. All of these bikes are checked thoroughly mechanically, parts replaced as necessary, detailed, tuned and safety inspected

Super rare Colnago Titanio: $3500

Size: 56cm

Description: Only Built for 2 years by Colnago this rare bike is made of a full titanium frame and fork. The bike incorporates innovative ideas such as the dual down tube. After 2 years of being produced Colnago found the addition time, tools, and processes required to manipulate and weld titanium tubing correctly were too expensive for mass production and discontinued the manufacturing of the Titanio. A full 8 speed Campagnolo Record drivetrain and custom Vuelta rims laced to Campagnolo Record hubs complete this beauty.

1993 Schwinn Paramount: $949

Size: 58cm

Description: Some have speculated when the last of major bike manufacturers shipped production overseas. We still don't know the answer but we do know this is a Waterford Schwinn made by American hands in America. Then subsequently, and ironically, equipped with Shimano 7 speed Dura-Ace index shifting, brakes, and wheels. The Shimano 600 crank is the only thing that makes this bike not original. The ride is snappy, fast, and light and feels more at home in the large group rides than on leisurely strolls.

Custom built Gilmour (Made In Tucson!): $599

Size: 60cm

Description: Custom built bike by local bike builder Andy Gilmour with Columbus tubing. The bike is equipped with a Shimano 600 drivetrain with matching blue Modolo Speedy brakes and calipers.

Tomasini Dominic's custom steel road bike: $1,749

Size: 58cm

Description: A custom made Tomassini for Dominic's bike shop in Phoenix. Made with Columbus tubing and Cinelli lugs there is no compromising with this bike. This bike is stocked with full Campy Chorus 7 speed. The shifters have been replaced with 2nd generation indexed Chorus due to the finicky nature of the 1st generation shifters. This bike is class through and through with a custom matching Selle Italia Turbo saddle.

The staff at Roadrunner Bicycles are grand aficionados of vintage bicycles. We delight in the opportunity to restore classic bicycles and to be a part of keeping cycling history alive. Our services range from a basic cleaning, tuning, and getting the bike up and running to fantastic projects like this Cinelli.

The bike was brought in far from original condition. The bike had been repainted to a dull blue and a mishmash of parts, Shimano and Campagnolo, were equipped on the frame. The mission was to restore the bicycle as much as possible to the original condition (including paint and chrome). Working with a local frame builder we were able to repaint and chrome the frame. Our work took us deep into online bids and vintage decal creators to procure the right parts to return this bike to its glory.

The budget was the limit for this machine and we proudly stand behind it as one of our best achievements. It is a gift we prepared from a father to be given to his daughter and know that it will provide excitement and beauty for another generation.

Please feel free to take a look at the photos and contact us if you would like to have your bicycle restored to this condition.

One of our newest projects was the restoration and modernizing of this mid '80s Rossin. With psychedelic graphics it made sense to incorporate the new sleek lines and great performance of the Campagnolo Veloce 10 speed drivetrain. An old bike with new style gave this ride a lively feel and rest assured reliability of the ergonomically designed Campagnolo components. An added bonus to this ride was the retention of the original custom painted Silka frame pump, still functional.

We are proud of this model being one of the first commercial sales of a new/old restoration. We look forward to seeing what your dream vintage ride will look like and how we can help you get there.
